This a season which brings true hope for all, so let us rejoice and be glad in it, finding new ways to celebrate in our own disciplines and to share this good news with those around us this month.

‘Ring for a King'

Great idea; Luvly phrase; Sadly not mine.  But the sentiment holds good. If you would like to Ring for our new King and in particular for the Coronation of King Charles III next year then now would be a good time to start learning.  As long as you are over 9 yrs old, have time to practice every Thursday evening and are keen to learn then it would be great to hear from you. Due to the progression of others, I now have one or two spaces for new beginners or returning ringers.

Call me if you're interested.

FAIRTRADE CHRISTMAS is definitely coming….our shopping evening was on the 29th and now our shop is full of beautiful, ethical gifts from around the world including many lovely gifts for foodies, charity Christmas cards and beautiful crafts, many of which are made from recycled /re-purposed materials so do pop in and have a look soon.

There is no Fairtrade café in December as we are combining it with the Tree Festival so do come and visit us as we are open Saturday 3rd 10 – 4 and Sunday 4th 1 – 4.

Nativity Puppet Show

All Saints Church is performing Nativity Puppet Shows around the pre-schools, our school, the library and in Church for B1BS & BOBS and at the Christmas Tree Weekend.

It is designed to tell the story using the puppets made by All Saints, singing nursery rhymes, opening inn doors, following a star, and filling a stable with animals, ending with singing Happy Birthday to Jesus with a big birthday cake.

If you have grandchildren, Godchildren, friends with children, why not bring them along to see the show?

You could come to the Christmas Tree Weekend on Saturday 3rd/Sunday 4th or to the library on Friday 16th at 2:30pm or B1BS & BOBS on Tuesday 20th December at 2pm at Church.
