Note from our Church Treasurer Did you know that it costs just over £260 a day to maintain All Saints Church and it's ministry and mission at the heart of Earls Barton? Our current budget shows a shortfall of almost 10% of that amount. So much of our income comes from regular or one-off donations by church members and visitors. If you are able to consider giving regularly, please contact Derek Bish at treasurer.earlsbarton@outlook.com

Shared Lunch This month’s Shared lunch will be on 16th April to avoid Easter celebrations,  to which everyone is invited. It will be a time to meet and chat over a simple lunch. The idea is that you bring some food and drink - enough to feed you and your family - and we all just share in whatever arrives. Generally, cold food is easier to deal with - for example quiches, sausage rolls, pizzas, salads, bread, cheese, nibbles plus cakes, fruit or simple puddings but bring what you like. The lunch starts about 12pm after the usual refreshments. For more info please contact Derek & Margaret Bish - 811539.

Even if you don’t have a box, do come along & chat to them about what the charity does.

Bellringers report.

I am delighted to report that Josh has now rung his first Quarter Peal and Sylvia.H. and Mike H. Have rung their first quarter with the E.B. band. The event was an early dedication for the forthcoming Coronation.

I am also pleased to report that we will be ringing all the Bells for the start of the Village party on the square.  As I am sure everyone will be aware that following our ringing on Palm Sunday there will be No Ringing during Holy Week until we ring again on Easter Sunday. Internal Redecoration of the Church

It is quite evident from the areas of peeling paintwork that this is much needed. In fact, nobody can remember when this was last carried out. Discussions have been held and documentation is being prepared for a faculty application to be made. It is planned to have the work undertaken late summer. It is going to be expensive and funds will be needed to be raised.
