As part of our Christian response to world poverty, we are a ‘fair trade’ church. We wish to encourage our whole church community to use fair trade products. We have a stall in the Church Hall at 11.00 am on the 3rd Sunday of the month selling Traidcraft products and a Fairtrade coffee morning in the Church Hall on the second Saturday of the month. Any profits go to our link parish, Malakisi, in Kenya.  For more information, contact Nicky Smith.

It’s Only Fair News

Wishing Happy Christmas & a peaceful new year to everyone!

Thought we’d finish 2016 with a few Christmas messages from around the world from some of the talented producers that work with Traidcraft:
“We join you in celebrating this Christmas Season of Joy and Peace! Allow us to take this opportunity to thank you for promoting our SAFFY products. Indeed, your endless support inspires and energizes all of us, especially the artisans who put not only hours and skills but also heart and soul in producing the beautiful craft gifts. Your Fair Trade advocacy is truly for us a concrete manifestation of God’s love in the person of Jesus, the Emmanuel, God-with-us. It is our fervent prayer and hope that God may continue to bless you with excellent health, robust prosperity, profound joy and lasting peace! A Blessed Christmas to all!”
Saffy (Phillipines)
“We celebrate with you the happiness of Jesus’ birth,
and shared together Love & Peace in this special moment. Thanks to Traidcraft staff, Fair Traders and Supporters for buying the handicraft products made by Peruvian artisans!”
Manos Amigas (Peru)
Merry Christmas (Bara din mubark) to all the craft lovers who want to uplift us through their purchases.” Khalil Ahmed, Iron Craft artisan (India)
We had a good morning at the All Saints Farmers market event in December with lots of people enjoying the opportunity to taste some products before buying. It was great to have some music from ‘the Buskers’ and EBM to get us all in the festive mood and to have so many people enjoying the morning.
We’ve had a really good year of campaigning & fairtrading, especially the Christmas season of course, so thanks so much for all your support and please continue to ‘show you care’ by buying Traidcraft products and we look forward to seeing you when we re-open on Friday 6th  January.
Our next coffee morning will be combined with an All Saints cake sale so please come and see us then…
