Families & Children
Children are very welcome at any service. However at the 9:30 and Together@11 services there are alternative arrangements in place to cater for the younger members of our congregation.
During the 9:30 Parish Communion JAM (Jesus and Me) meets in the Church Hall. Children start the service in Church and then go down to the Hall.
At the Together@11 Service children stay for the first half of the service which is pitched at all ages and then go for a short ‘JAM’ (Jesus and Me) session while the adults and any children who want to stay have a more contemplative prayer and a short talk. On the 3rd Sunday of the month Communion is part of the Together@11 Service and for this service the children stay in church for the whole service.
Green activity bags can be borrowed for young children who stay in church.
‘All Bears@All Saints’ is a club for the very young (0 – 5 years), and their parents, grandparents and carers – the young at heart!
It runs between 2:15 pm and 3:30 pm, in the church hall on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month with story and songs, children’s activities, time to chat over refreshments. A warm welcome awaits All so why not give us a try?
All Age/Parade Services are held on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 11am. Children and adults join together in one service. In term time we are joined by members of the uniformed groups – Brownies, Cub Scouts etc who take it in turns to give a presentation. Some All Age Services have communion.
