Requests for Prayer
As you will probably know, names of those for whom prayer is asked are included in our intercessions on most Sundays and Wednesdays, and prayed for daily by me - and no doubt others, too. From now on, the names will remain on the list for two weeks, after which time I would ask that you let me, or one of our Pastoral Ministers, know if you would like names to remain on the list for a further two weeks, and so on. I hope that his will help me to keep track of pastoral needs and situations, and ensure that the list is up to date. With many thanks, Miranda
All Bears @ AllSaints
From this month All Bears is moving to the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month and it will all be held in the Church Hall. We have a great team of helpers already but can always do with more pairs of hands! If you feel you could help us with the refreshments and/or welcoming people on an occasional basis that would be wonderful. If you'd like to know more, without any obligation, please contact Kathleen Davison or any one of the lay pastoral team Many thanks. Sue Suter
Church Cleaning…..We need YOUR help We have a stalwart band of helpers who clean the church on a weekly basis and keep it looking its best. Cleaning is done in pairs and can be done on a Friday evening or Saturday morning to suit you (and depending on weddings etc). As people have moved off, the rota is currently down to 5 pairs which makes it hard work for those concerned. We really need some new help and ideally would like 6 people to take it down to a manageable commitment once every 2 months.
You can volunteer as an individual or as a pair, you could even volunteer as a family. All the equipment and cleaning materials are kept in the church and we can make sure you clean alongside an experienced pair to start.
Please consider if you could take on this task, which is largely unseen but hugely valuable.
Please talk to one of the wardens for more information - Cathryn Kunkler
Friends of All Saints Church
This is a charity set up for 2 reasons. The Church and its Tower are part of our National Heritage appreciated by the academic world but less known in our own locality. We wish to publicise it and bring more visitors to Earls Barton to see the Church and also benefit local businesses. Secondly, money raised will be spent on maintaining and enhancing the Church in its first class state of repair. By becoming a member of “Friends of All Saints Church” you can help in this task
Tuesday Home Prayer Meetings: Dates and Venues
Gill, Sue, Valerie and Kathy extend a warm welcome to those wishing to join in our monthly PRAYER meetings. Come and enjoy fellowship and refreshments in a homely environment, commencing at 2.30pm.

Welcoming Village Newcomers & Parish Pastoral Care
Do please let me know when new residents move in to the village, so that I can welcome them to the parish. I would also be very grateful to be told if anyone in the Parish is ill, in hospital, or in difficulties. Please remember, too, that our Lay Pastoral Ministers, Carol Coleman, Valerie Brown and Kathy Hale, are also available, if required, for help, support or encouragement. Many thanks Miranda 810447 (Revd Miranda Hayes)
Caring For Carers
This is a recent initiative started by the church to give those in a caring situation the opportunity to have a little time for themselves. If you feel that you can help with this important work and are willing to give your time to enable respite for a carer in the parish will you please talk to Valerie Brown. The help requested is usually 2-3 hours at a time and can be either day or evening. This is an area where you can make a huge difference to the lives of others and all you need is a listening ear and a willingness to help. Please ring me to find out more. Valerie.
THE OFFER OF HOME COMMUNION
Holy Communion is a personal moment that we share in the life of Christ, and with the community of faith, God gives us his body and blood as a sign of his continued presence to nurture us into his likeness, until we are completely one with him in love, unity and peace.
Are you feeling isolated or trapped in your home or do you know of a neighbour or friend who is unable to attend church to celebrate Holy Communion? This may be due to short or long term problems. All Saints Parish church has a team of Lay Pastoral Ministers who are able to offer this celebration of faith with you.
We would be delighted to hear from you, so do please contact one of us and we can arrange a visit at a date and time suitable to you: Carol Coleman, Valerie Brown, and Kathy Hale.
