Growing Together is the name chosen for a new programme of activities at All Saints. The intention is to help us:
grow together as Christians on our personal journeys of faith;
grow together as a vibrant, attractive worshipping community;
and
grow together as we witness in Earls Barton, showing God's love.
New Short Courses:
Following
the success of the Lent course, which looked at the
Lord’s Prayer, we are going to offer other short
courses through the year. The next one will be in the
autumn and we really need your help to select the one
you would find most interesting or helpful. There are 3
courses briefly outlined below, simply number them
1,2,3, with 1 as your first choice and we will offer
the most popular in the autumn. Simple!
Better
Together?
In addition to relationships within the family and
church, this thought-provoking 5-part course considers
the way we relate to strangers, mend broken
relationships and relate to God.
Faith In The Fire
Faith is under fire today as never before, and it is
often assumed that faith is outdated. This 5-part
course helps us wrestle with what it means to believe
in God in the twenty-first century.
Jesus Rediscovered
Albert Einstein declared that, 'No one can read the
Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus'.
This 5-part course focuses on the Man who chopped
history in half and what it means to own Jesus as
Teacher, Example, Saviour and Lord.
The courses will follow a similar format to the Lent
course meeting over 5 weeks using audio clips to prompt
discussion. Please let us know what you think...
