council meeting.
They are the senior lay
leaders and work closely with
the Vicar.

One of my main roles is to be a friendly, welcoming face in church. In help to ensure the church is clean and ready for services and enjoy decorating the church with flowers – I am also a fond gardener. I drive for the Help Scheme and help regularly at Cynthia Spencer Hospice – work which I really enjoy. I also enjoy visiting my large, scattered family.

I have lived in Earls Barton and worshipped at All Saints for 11 years now. I first became involved in the church leading Sunday Club sessions, which I continue to do. I enjoy being part of the church family and taking part in the Christian life of the village.
My working life is as a paediatrician at Northampton General Hospital and I am lucky to have the support and love of my husband Roger and 3 children Chris , Lizzie and Maddy who keep me busy as a taxi service!

A family man who has lived in the village for nearly 20 years, I recently retired from a career in the hospitality industry and lecturing in Further Education. Being a practical man, and a former Head Chef, I am actively involved in the Buildings and Social Committees.

As a deputy to Cathryn and Lesley, I hope I am a very approachable sounding board, helping to develop the range of worship, shaping the church of tomorrow and how we express God’s love in the wider world.
We are very lucky to have a diverse congregation with so many gifts. I am Head of Services for Children for Bedfordshire County Council. My wife, Sandra, and I have two wonderful daughters.
