Parochial Church Council

Role of the PCC & Sub-Committees:
(updated 18/4/2011)

Members are elected by the Parish Annual General Meeting and are responsible with the Churchwardens and the Vicar for the running of All Saints Church.  The Church Council (PCC) meets about 6 times a year and much of the work is delegated to the six sub-committees, who have extra members to help carry out the work.

We are always keen to encourage people to join our committees and help.  People are not expected to be on a committee for life!  The 6 sub committees are:  Buildings, Finance, Socials, Stewardship, Tower publications, and Worship & Outreach.  Please have a word with the wardens or vicar if you would like to find out more.

The first meeting of the new PCC was in April 2011 when the officers, secretary and treasurer etc were elected and the sub-committees re-formed.

On 13th April we held the annual Vestry and General Meetings, at which the following elections were made:

Churchwardens - Thomas Meyer and Cathryn Kunkler

Laity PCC Members -

The following people were unanimously elected to the PCC, either as Lay Members or Deanery Synod Representatives: Martin Pratt, Tom Moore, Kathy Hale, Vindy Hillman, Valerie Brown, Glynis Harper, Steve Buckley, Simon Forey, Margaret Manfield, Lesley Barker, Julia Cross, Philip Cross, David Timms, Naomi Pratt, Chris Kunkler.

Nominated Reader - Simon Elvin

Deputy Churchwardens - Martin Pratt and Tom Moore

Much of the work of the PCC is done through committees, who welcome the support of additional members of the congregation to help in their areas.  If you are able to offer time, or have particular interests or skills, the following would be delighted to hear from you;

Buildings - Tom Moore
Finance - Cathryn Kunkler
Social Events - Tom Moore
Worship & Outreach - Andrew Feben
Miranda Hayes (AllSaints vicar) is Chair of the PCC
